Qualcomm to Provide Eight Years of Android Updates
Qualcomm has recently introduced the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a new chipset that allows companies to support Android software and security updates for up to eight years. This is a significant step in partnership with Google to help users keep their devices updated longer.

Google plans to offer seven years of Android OS and security updates for its upcoming Pixel 9, while Samsung will do the same for the Galaxy S25.
