This Weekend’s Free Play Days Offers Three Xbox Games for Everyone

Microsoft has announced the latest lineup of Free Play Days games for Xbox users. From now until Sunday, March 2, Game Pass subscribers can enjoy three games without paying anything extra. The games available for free during this period are Dragon Ball FighterZ, Catan – Console Edition, and Worms W.M.D.
It’s worth noting that none of these Free Play Days games are currently included in the Game Pass library. However, both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Worms W.M.D were previously part of the Game Pass offerings. If you didn’t have a chance to complete them back then, now is a great time to dive back in.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is a popular fighting game that is played in a 2.5D style, which means it combines both two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphics. In this game, players can choose three characters from the Dragon Ball universe to create their own team. You’ll face another team of three characters in exciting battles. The game is praised for its fighting mechanics, character roster, stunning visuals, and engaging story mode. If you’ve got some free time this weekend, this is definitely a game to try. However, keep in mind that if you haven’t started it before, completing it can be quite challenging, as it has a high completion estimate of around 100 hours and won’t offer an easy 1,000 Gamerscore.
Next up is Catan – Console Edition, which is a digital version of the widely loved board game, Catan. This game transforms the classic board game into an interactive online experience. Players need to gather resources, come up with clever strategies, and build their own settlements while competing against friends or computer-controlled opponents. If you have the time this weekend, you could potentially earn a free 1,000 Gamerscore, as this game can be completed in about 12 hours, and there is no time limit on the Free Play Days event.
Lastly, there’s Worms W.M.D., which brings back the classic turn-based gameplay that the Worms series is known for. With over 30 levels and a mix of both new and traditional weapons, as well as vehicles to add extra chaos, this game promises a lot of fun. If you missed the chance to complete Worms W.M.D. when it was available on Game Pass, this weekend is a perfect opportunity to revisit the game. For newcomers, completing it will take roughly 50 hours.
