Ultraviolette unveils Tesseract e-scooter and Shockwave e-bike in India with prices starting at ₹1.2 lakhs

Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette Automotive, supported by TVS Motor, has launched two exciting electric vehicles: the Tesseract electric scooter and the Shockwave e-bike. Introducing the Tesseract Electric Scooter
The Ultraviolette Tesseract marks the company’s first electric scooter. Its design is inspired by attack helicopters, showcasing a bold look with a chunky front apron, striking side panels, and dual projector headlights accompanied by unique daytime running lights (DRLs).

The Tesseract comes in three different versions, each offering a combination of power and battery capacity:

- Top speed of 120 km/h, capable of reaching 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
- An impressive range of 165 km.
The Shockwave also includes switchable ABS and a 6-level regenerative braking system. Weighing only 120 kg, it boasts a lightweight and sturdy frame.
The introductory price for the Ultraviolette Shockwave starts at ₹1.49 lakh for the first 1,000 units, and will later increase to ₹1.75 lakh.
Future Plans
Ultraviolette has ambitious plans for the future. They aim to launch 12 new electric vehicles across five different platforms (F, S, L, X, and B series) within the next three years. Their goal is to achieve annual sales of 1 lakh units. Interested customers can now reserve both the Tesseract and Shockwave for only ₹999 on the company’s website. Deliveries are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
