Apple M4 MacBook Air Set to Debut This Week, with iPad 11 and iPad Air Coming Soon: Report

Apple continues its trend of releasing new gadgets. Recently, they introduced the iPhone 16e, priced starting at Rs 59,900. Reports now indicate that the company is gearing up to announce a refreshed MacBook Air, an entry-level iPad, and an updated iPad Air shortly.
New MacBook Air Launch Expected Soon
- According to a report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is on the verge of upgrading its MacBook Air series. An official launch could take place as early as this week.
- The upcoming MacBook Air will likely feature the M4 chip, which is already used in Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro that was released in October 2024, priced at Rs 1,69,900.
- 9to5mac reports that, while the design of the new MacBook Air may not change significantly, it is expected to support up to 32GB of RAM and a memory bandwidth of 120GB per second. It will also come with a 12MP center-stage camera.
- The M4 MacBook Air may also include an optional nano-texture display that reduces glare and potentially offers a bit more battery life.
Upcoming iPad 11 and iPad Air
- Besides the MacBook Air, Apple plans to refresh its iPad range. This includes launching the new iPad 11, which will replace the iPad 10 introduced in 2022, initially priced at Rs 44,900.
- The iPad 11 is anticipated to be powered by the A17 Pro chipset, the same chip inside the iPhone 15 Pro, which was released in 2023 at a starting price of Rs 1,34,900.
- The iPad Air is likely to be upgraded with the M3 chip, offering a significant improvement over the currently used M2 chip in existing models.
- Additionally, the new iPad Air might feature Wi-Fi 7 support and a redesigned version of the Magic Keyboard.
