Avowed Soars into Top 3 Among Popular Xbox Games Following Game Pass Release

Recently, we saw a big jump in the Xbox gameplay chart with the game Avowed gaining popularity after its launch on Game Pass. It has been a while since the top five games changed, but many players are really enjoying Avowed, pushing it into the top three games on the list.
The top two spots continue to be held by the popular games Call of Duty and Fortnite. However, Avowed has climbed ten places and now sits right below them in third place. This is quite impressive since this ranking was done last week when Avowed was not available on Game Pass yet and could only be played if you preordered for early access. Now that it is officially part of Game Pass, more players are getting into this fantasy RPG from Obsidian. I personally loved it in our review, and I’m eager to see how its popularity continues in the weeks to come.
Looking at the rest of the chart, Marvel Rivals has dropped two places to sixth position. While the game itself continues to perform well, the developers have faced some tough times, including layoffs. When one game climbs the ranks, it often leads to changes for others in the top 40, and we’ve seen a lot of that this week. For example, Sniper Elite: Resistance, which also just launched on Game Pass, has dropped five spots to 17th place. It’s still an excellent game, and Sean provided an in-depth review of it.
In more news, Sea of Thieves has moved up from 28th to 19th place following the start of its Season 15. Conversely, Far Cry New Dawn, which recently joined Game Pass, has dipped down five spots to 28th.
One of the notable movements this week is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which climbed from 37th to 33rd. Additionally, we see a new addition to the list with Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader appearing at 37th place after joining Game Pass. There’s also a familiar face returning to the chart this week—DayZ, which is now at 39th. However, another title, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, has dropped to the bottom of the chart at 40th place.
As we look ahead, there are many Xbox exclusives and Game Pass titles set to release in the coming months. It will be exciting to see which games will break into the top ten next. Will Avowed continue its rise next week? I’m curious to hear your thoughts in the comments!
