Battery Life and Charging Test Results for the Oppo Reno13 Pro Released

Oppo introduced the Reno13 Pro in November last year in China, and it began to reach international markets in January. We shared our initial thoughts about the device, and we are currently putting together a detailed review. While we finalize that, we want to share the results of our tests on battery life and charging speed, so you can see how the Reno13 Pro performs in these areas right away.
The Oppo Reno13 Pro is equipped with the powerful Dimensity 8350 SoC and has a large 5,800 mAh battery. This new battery is an upgrade of 800 mAh from the previous model, the Reno12 Pro. Because of this bigger battery, the Reno13 Pro has a better Active Use Score as well. The Reno12 Pro had an Active Use Score of 14 hours and 54 minutes, while the Reno13 Pro scored an impressive 16 hours and 42 minutes. This improvement means you can expect longer usage time before needing to recharge.
One of the notable features of the Reno13 Pro is its support for fast charging at 80W. However, it’s important to note that not all markets will include a power adapter with the phone. When we look at the charging performance, the Reno12 Pro, which also had an 80W charging capability, took about 46 minutes to fully charge using the appropriate power adapter. In comparison, even with the larger battery, the Reno13 Pro charged a few minutes quicker with the same 80W power adapter.
To summarize, the Oppo Reno13 Pro showcases a strong performance regarding battery life and charging speed. The larger battery provides more usage time, and the fast charging feature gets you back to full power in less time than its predecessor. Overall, for users who prioritize battery performance, the Reno13 Pro looks like it will be a great choice. Stay tuned for more details in our complete review, where we’ll cover more aspects of this exciting new phone.
