Following Aamad Trading’s closure, a bailiff notice was posted on the front door of the store, indicating that the premises have been seized due to the business defaulting on rent payments. According to the landlords, Canterbury Estates Ltd, this non-payment issue prompted the eviction.

Taz Shaikh, the former owner of Aamad Trading, previously expressed his commitment to the location, stating that he planned to lease the space for ten years and aimed to offer “affordable luxury.” His brief attempt at establishing a successful furniture store ultimately ended in disappointment.
