Demons Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Release Details

The much-anticipated game, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, is set to launch for multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The release date in Japan is August 1, 2025, whereas players in the West can expect it on August 5, 2025. This exciting news comes from publishers Aniplex and SEGA, as well as developer CyberConnect2. A special Digital Deluxe Edition will allow players to enjoy five days of early access to the game, starting on July 31, 2025.

Pre-Order Information

Digital pre-orders for The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will launch on March 3, 2025, for every platform except for Nintendo Switch, which will have a later date for pre-orders.

    • Unlock six Kimetsu Academy Characters: Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Shinobu Kocho, and Giyu Tomioka.
  • From Sweep the Board! save data:
    • Unlock a character key for Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma (all three characters act as a single playable character).
