Farhan Akhtar announces that filming for Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 starts this year.

Back in November, Excel Entertainment, the company behind the movie, addressed the rumors about delays. They made a statement saying that both Ranveer Singh and the film’s creators are aligned in their belief that the timelines for “Don 3” remain unchanged. They stressed that any news suggesting a postponement was inaccurate. In a special announcement video released in 2023, Ranveer was introduced as the new face of “Don.” He shared an adorable childhood photo of himself acting out the character, which highlighted how much this role means to him. Expressing his gratitude and acknowledgment of the great responsibility he feels in taking on this iconic character, Ranveer wrote, “I understand what a great responsibility it is to be a part of the ‘Don’ dynasty. I hope the audience gives me a chance and showers me with love, just like they have for many characters over the years.” He will be joined in the lead role by actress Kiara Advani.

Ranveer Singh’s most recent appearance was in the film “Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty, which was released during Diwali last year.
