February 2025 Sales Breakdown for Mahindra

Mahindra has reinforced its hold on the Indian automotive market by showing a strong 18.91% year-on-year (YoY) sales growth in February 2025. The company sold a total of 50,420 units, up from 42,401 units during the same time last year. This growth can largely be attributed to the robust demand for its SUV offerings, particularly models like the Thar, XUV 3XO, and XUV700.
### Detailed Sales Breakdown for February 2025
Looking closely at Mahindra’s sales figures, the Scorpio and Scorpio N models emerged as the top sellers, with a total of 13,618 units sold in February 2025. However, this reflects a decline of 9.52% compared to February 2024, when 15,051 units were sold. On a brighter note, the Thar, along with the newly launched Thar ROXX, saw a remarkable increase in sales. They reached 9,248 units sold this February, marking a significant rise of 59.12% from last year’s 5,812 units.
The Bolero lineup, which has traditionally performed well in rural markets, experienced a sales drop of 14.07%. It sold 8,690 units this February compared to 10,113 units in February 2024. The XEV 9e recorded sales of 2,205 units, while the BE 6 accounted for 991 units. It is important to note that these figures reference wholesales, indicating dispatches from Mahindra to dealerships. As of now, deliveries of these new electric SUVs have yet to begin. Meanwhile, the XUV400 EV faced a decline, with sales dropping 47.21% to just 322 units in February, down from 610 units last year, signaling increasing competition in the electric vehicle sector. Additionally, the Marazzo, a model that occupies a niche market, sold only 17 units this February, reflecting a 66.67% decrease from 51 units last year.
