Images of the allegedly leaked new Nintendo Switch 2 dock have surfaced.

Recently, several images have surfaced online, claiming to show new views of the Nintendo Switch 2 dock. These images, which were shared on Famiboards, come from the same source that previously leaked design sketches of the console on Xiaohongshu, a popular social media platform in China. Interestingly, those earlier sketches looked very similar to the official images that Nintendo disclosed when announcing the Switch 2 last month.
The latest images include one that suggests the dock has been designed with ventilation in mind, which could help prevent overheating. Before the console was officially revealed, journalist Laura Kate Dale shared what was said to be an image of the dock as well.
Dale also reported that the Switch 2 is expected to come with a 60W charger. It has been noted that the charger for the original Switch may not be powerful enough to charge the new system adequately while it is docked. While players might still be able to charge the Switch 2 using the older charger, it would likely work much less efficiently.
Last month, Nintendo officially announced the Switch 2, showcasing it in a teaser video that also featured the new Joy-Con controllers. The trailer provided a quick glimpse of an upcoming Mario Kart game designed to run on the Switch 2’s hardware.
Looking ahead, Nintendo has scheduled a special presentation on April 2, where they will fully reveal the new console during a Nintendo Direct event focused on the Switch 2.
Shuntaro Furukawa, the president of Nintendo, stated that the pricing for the Switch 2 would be based on a variety of factors. He emphasized that the company aims to maintain its reputation for offering affordable hardware. Furukawa also mentioned that Nintendo is planning to implement strategies to minimize the impact of resellers on the availability of the Switch 2 when it launches.
As excitement builds up for the new console, gamers are eagerly anticipating more details about its features, games, and overall performance. There is hope that the new hardware will bring significant improvements, providing an exciting gaming experience for both new and returning players. The upcoming Nintendo Direct presentation will be a crucial moment for fans and followers of the brand, as it will unveil the full capabilities and advantages of the Switch 2, likely setting the stage for its success in the gaming market.
