Both versions, according to Ice Universe, will have similar proportions in terms of length, width, screen size, and bezel, matching the iPhone 16 Pro Max. A YouTube channel called iDeviceHelp has also contributed to the conversation. In a recent video, they partnered with the leaker Majin Bu, who previously shared similar mockups. Their presentation includes detailed renderings of the standard, Pro Max, and Air variants, drawn from what they claim are internal documents from Apple. One notable aspect viewers may observe is the edge of the phone, reminiscent of the ultra-thin 13-inch M4 iPad Pro, a device currently recognized as thinner than what the iPhone 17 Air is anticipated to be.
A striking feature in the mockups by iDeviceHelp is a camera bar located on the back of the phone, extending from one side to the other, much like what’s found on the Google Pixel series. It’s still uncertain whether this design is purely aesthetic or serves a functional purpose.
