MacBook Air M4 debuts in India at a starting price of Rs 99,900; M3 and M2 models phased out.

Apple is making headlines this week with some exciting new products. Just earlier, the company introduced the iPad Air featuring an M3 chip, along with the iPad 11. Now, almost immediately after these launches, Apple has rolled out the new MacBook Air equipped with the powerful M4 chip. This latest model replaces the previous MacBook Air that came with the M3 chip, which was launched in March 2024.
As part of this update, Apple has decided to discontinue both the MacBook Air with the M3 and M2 chips from their official store in India.
In addition to the MacBook Air updates, Apple has also released a new Mac Studio, available in India and other global markets.
MacBook Air M4 Price and Availability in India
- The new MacBook Air can be pre-ordered in India starting today, March 5th, and will be available to buy from March 12th.

Specifications of the MacBook Air M4
- Design: The 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models feature a sleek aluminium unibody design. The 13-inch model weighs 1.24 kg, while the 15-inch model is slightly heavier at 1.51 kg.
- Display: The 13-inch variant has a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2560 x 1664 pixels. The 15-inch variant sports a larger 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2880 x 1864 pixels. Both displays provide 500 nits of brightness and support for P3 Wide Color gamut and True Tone technology.
