New Leak Suggests Pixel 10 May Feature an Upgraded Camera Lens

Key Information About Google’s Upcoming Pixel 10 Series
- Tipster OnLeaks has shared CAD designs of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
- All three models showcase a similar design, highlighting flat sides and various color choices.
- A major enhancement is the addition of a new camera on the base Pixel 10 model.
- Each phone is expected to be equipped with the new Tensor G5 System on Chip (SoC).
As we anticipate the Pixel 9a release, early glimpses of the potential design for Google’s next flagship series have emerged. The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) renders for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL highlight that there are minimal changes compared to the earlier models.
The design leaks, presented by Android Headlines in collaboration with tipster OnLeaks, not only reveal the phones’ designs but also share some of the expected dimensions.
The new Pixel 10 retains a design very similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 9. It features a 6.3-inch display and dimensions of 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm. It appears to have flat matte sides with slight curves to enhance grip. On the right side of the device, the power button and volume control buttons are conveniently located. The shared renders display a pink version as seen in previous models.
However, one significant upgrade is expected in the camera area. The Pixel 10 is rumored to have a triple camera setup, an improvement over the dual camera system featured in the Pixel 9. This could potentially elevate photography capabilities for users.
In addition, the latest Pixel 10 Pro renders suggest that this device will also closely follow the design of its predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro. It is projected to have identical dimensions, measuring 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, and will likely feature the same 6.3-inch display. This consistency is good news for anyone who bought cases for previous Pixel models, as they could fit the new devices.
On another note, the Pixel 10 Pro will carry a triple camera system that includes a primary lens, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a periscope lens, which should enhance photographic versatility further. Unlike the matte finish on the standard Pixel 10, the Pro model is expected to feature a glossy surface, appealing to users who prefer a sleeker aesthetic.
Similarly, the Pixel 10 Pro XL design appears to mirror that of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, according to shared renders. This model is expected to boast a larger 6.8-inch display alongside dimensions of 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5mm, closely resembling the older version. Being positioned as a flagship device, the Pro XL is expected to differentiate itself with a bigger display and an upgraded, more robust battery system.
Even though there may be minimal design changes across these three Pixel 10 series phones, enhancements in internal specifications, including an advanced Tensor G5 chip, are anticipated. As has been the trend with Google devices, the launch for the series is likely to take place a few months after the Google I/O event, scheduled for May.
