Ray-Ban has teamed with Meta and the fashion brand Coperni to introduce a stylish and exclusive edition of their smart glasses, merging technology with high fashion.
During Paris Fashion Week, the Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni smart glasses were unveiled, showcasing an updated take on the classic Wayfarer design. The frame is made from a translucent black material, which adds a modern twist to the timeless aesthetic.
This collaboration features prominently in Coperni’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection and represents Meta’s inaugural foray into the world of fashion collaborations. Previously, Meta launched a transparent limited-edition pair priced at $429, but this special edition stands out due to its distinctive design embellishments and the artistic input from Coperni.
Following inspiration drawn from last year’s translucent models, this edition features a transparent frame complemented by grey mirrored lenses. Additionally, a noticeable Coperni logo is emblazoned on the temple arm, lending a touch of exclusivity.
On the technical side, these smart glasses boast capabilities similar to Meta’s existing model. This includes 32GB of onboard storage and a built-in 12MP camera. Users can capture photos in resolutions of up to 3024 x 4032 pixels and shoot videos at 1440 x 1920 pixels, with a frame rate of 30 frames per second.
Included in the features is access to Meta AI, which provides users with information about their surroundings, enables note-taking, and allows for language translation. Additionally, users can make calls and perform various other tasks. Notably, Meta AI can recognize and scan QR codes via the camera’s view.
The glasses also come equipped with Shazam functionality, allowing users to use voice commands to search for and play music on platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music. In addition, Meta has enhanced the memory capabilities of Meta AI, meaning it can offer even more personalized assistance.
