Realme Neo 7 SE and Neo 7x Debut in China with 50MP Camera and Up to 7,000mAh Battery: Pricing and Specs Revealed

Realme has introduced two new smartphones, the Neo 7 SE and the Neo 7x, in China. These smartphones are part of the Neo series and follow the launch of the first Neo 7, which came out in December of the previous year. The Neo 7x is powered by the latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, while the Neo 7 SE uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX chipset.

The Realme Neo 7 SE starts with a price of CNY 1,799, which is about Rs 21,700, and is available in several attractive colors including Azure Mecha, White-winged God of War, and Darkarmoured Iron Rider-Black. On the other hand, the Realme Neo 7x starts at CNY 1,299, approximately Rs 15,700, and can be found in Titanium Grey Storm and Silverwing mech colors. Both models are now available for purchase on the Realme website.

The Neo 7 SE comes with several configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage costing CNY 1,799, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for CNY 1,899, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage priced at CNY 2,199, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage available for CNY 2,499. The Neo 7x offers two configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage for CNY 1,299 and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for CNY 1,599.

In terms of specifications, the Realme Neo 7 SE features a large 6.78-inch FHD+ LTPO display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits and is equipped with advanced features for eye care. This model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX processor and runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. The phone is equipped with a powerful 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens for versatile photography. It also includes a sizable 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities.

Similarly, the Neo 7x offers a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and has options for 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera and a 16MP front camera for selfies, and the phone features a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

One notable update in the Neo 7 SE is the significant increase in battery capacity from previous models, going from 5,500mAh in the GT Neo 6 SE to 7,000mAh. However, the charging speed has been reduced from 100W to 80W. The front camera has also been changed from 32MP in the prior model to 16MP in this new version.

The Neo 7x, being a new addition to the series, incorporates the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, which promises improved performance. There is speculation that this phone might also be marketed in different regions, including India, under different names such as Realme 14 5G or Realme P3.
