Revamped ‘Devices’ Page Showcases All Your Made by Google Products

Google has recently introduced a new feature on its online store called the “Devices” page. This allows customers to see a list of all the Google products they own. The page provides useful information such as the names of the devices, their serial numbers or IMEI numbers for phones, and details on how to get support for these products.
When you visit the Devices page, you’ll be able to view all your owned items in one place. By default, it shows all your devices together, but you can click on different tabs to look specifically at your phones, earbuds, tablets, smartwatches, and smart home products. Each device is displayed with a picture representing its design and color. If you’ve named your device something unique, that name will appear instead of the standard Google name.
In addition to the product names and images, the page also shows information about the warranty status of each device and when it may expire. If you click on a device, you will see more details, including when you bought it and the serial number or IMEI number if it’s a phone. Each device also has a “View More” option that takes you to a dedicated page where you can find even more specific information and quickly access support from Google if you need help with that particular item.
Another useful feature on this page is the option to add additional devices. Devices that you have signed into with your Google account will automatically show up on this page. However, if you want to manage other devices not linked to your account, you can do so by adding their serial or IMEI numbers. Google suggests visiting their support page if you need assistance with this process.
Moreover, users can utilize Google’s Find My Device service when they access their phones from this Devices page. This feature allows you to locate your phone, lock it, or make it ring if you have lost it. The Find My Device service became available for Android devices in the spring of 2024, expanding to more devices in the U.S., including the Pixel 8 and Moto Razr Plus. A notable feature was introduced with the Pixel 8 series, which allowed users to find their phones even if they were turned off. As long as you had Bluetooth and location services enabled before the phone lost power, your device could transmit its location for several hours. This capability has continued with the Pixel 9 series.
In summary, the new “Devices” page from Google makes it easier for users to manage and track their Google products. With clear information about each device, warranty status, and easy access to support, customers can have better control over their technology. The inclusion of the Find My Device feature further enhances the usefulness of this page, especially for those who may misplace or lose their phones.
