Samsung Announces Major Free One UI 7 Update – Find Out if Your Phone is Included

Samsung has announced that it is beginning to roll out its new One UI 7 update in the UK, allowing users the chance to access this much-anticipated software ahead of its full launch. This update represents Samsung’s most important software release of the year and follows a long wait from users eager for enhancements to their devices.
The One UI 7 will replace the previously popular One UI 6 on many existing Samsung models, bringing with it a host of exciting new features. Users can look forward to improved artificial intelligence writing tools, enhanced capabilities for capturing photos and videos, and a fresh feature dubbed the Now Bar. This new addition provides quick updates on various topics, including sports scores, timers, and navigation directions.
Based on the Android 15 platform, One UI 7 also brings visual and customizable elements to users’ devices. The home screen has been redesigned, widgets have received makeovers, and the lock screen has been improved for a better user experience. Samsung has stated that “One UI 7 marks a significant leap forward by integrating leading AI agents and multimodal capabilities into every touch point of the interface, creating an AI platform where every interaction feels natural and intuitive.”
Initially, the update was exclusive to the new Galaxy S25 series, but the company previously tested the software on the Galaxy S24 range in December. Now, a beta version of One UI 7 is set to expand to more phones in the market. In the UK, the Beta program will launch for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 on March 6. Following that, other popular devices such as the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and the A55 model will also gain access to the beta version by the end of that month.
Beta programs are a great way for Samsung users to experience upcoming software features before the official release. If you own one of the listed devices, you can check the Samsung Members app to see if you are eligible to participate in the beta testing of One UI 7.
Currently, the beta version is available for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 and is expected to roll out soon for the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and A55. However, users who may not be interested in testing the beta are likely to see the official release soon. With the expanded beta testing, experts predict that the finalized version of One UI 7 could be officially available as early as April.
Samsung’s updates frequently aim to enhance user experience through better functionality and richer interfaces, and the One UI 7 promises to do just that. With features tailored towards modern needs, this update could significantly change the way users interact with their devices, blending smart technology with ease of use.
