Samsung hints at two new Galaxy smartphones: "Unrivaled Giants"

Samsung has already released several smartphones in India and is planning to introduce even more in the near future. The South Korean company is currently teasing the upcoming launch of two budget-friendly smartphones, the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16, which will be available soon in the country.

To create excitement, Samsung has released a short video teaser and, interestingly, Amazon India has set up a teaser page. However, this page unexpectedly takes visitors to the Galaxy S25 Ultra product page. Despite this oddity, the teaser reveals the names of the phones along with a catchy tagline: “Can’t beat the Monsters.” This suggests that both smartphones will likely come with large batteries.

As of now, there are no leaked details about the specifications of these two new devices. However, there is a good chance that the Galaxy M06 will share features with the Galaxy F06 5G, which was launched recently in India as an affordable option. It is also safe to expect that both the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16 will operate on Android 15, with Samsung’s One UI Core 7 layered on top. If the Galaxy M06 5G is just a rebranded version of the Galaxy F06 5G, it would likely be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and come with a dual-camera setup featuring a main 50 MP camera and a 2 MP macro lens.

In addition, the Galaxy M06 5G might have a large 6.7-inch PLS display with HD+ resolution, an 8-megapixel camera for selfies, and a long-lasting 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging.

On the other hand, the Galaxy M16 is expected to include a triple-camera setup, similar to its predecessor. The size and specifications of the cameras might vary, but for comparison, the Galaxy M15 has a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.

Looking at the battery performance, the Galaxy M15 is known for its impressive 6,000 mAh battery. Therefore, it would be logical for the Galaxy M16 to feature a similarly large battery capacity. Regarding the display, the Galaxy M15 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, so anything less for the Galaxy M16 would likely be considered a letdown.

While Samsung has not formally announced when the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16 will be launched in India, it is anticipated that both devices will be revealed sometime this week. Fans of Samsung and budget smartphone seekers alike are eagerly waiting to see what these new models will offer. With large screens, powerful batteries, and capable cameras, the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16 are expected to attract a lot of attention when they finally hit the market.
