T-1000 DLC Character Releases on March 18 for Kombat Pack 2 Owners, March 25 for All Players

Mortal Kombat 1 has exciting news for its fans! The game is set to release a new downloadable character, T-1000, on March 18 for those who own the Kombat Pack 2 or “Khaos Reigns” expansion. For everyone else, T-1000 will be available on March 25. This character is inspired by the famous movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day, bringing the voice and appearance of actor Robert Patrick to life in the game.

The T-1000 is a unique character because it is a liquid metal assassin, allowing it to shift shapes and create sharp weapons from its own body. Players can expect a variety of deadly moves from this advanced robot as it joins the roster of fighters in Mortal Kombat 1.

In addition to T-1000, there is another new character called Madam Bo, who will assist players during battles. Madam Bo is a Kameo Fighter that can provide helpful support moves throughout matches. Like T-1000, she will also be available for Khaos Reigns owners for free or can be purchased separately starting on March 18.

The announcement was made at Pro Kompetition Mexico, which is the kickoff event for the second season of the Mortal Kombat 1 esports series. This new season features a total prize pool of $255,000 and includes live events across North America, Latin America, South America, and Europe, along with numerous online tournaments. Players interested in participating can find more details and register for these events on the official online hub.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is an expansion for the popular Mortal Kombat 1 game, developed by the renowned NetherRealm Studios. The expansion is already available for digital download on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through the Steam and Epic Games Store. This expansion introduces additional story content as well as new playable characters including Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, and the T-1000 on March 18, along with the Madam Bo Kameo Fighter.
