Tata Motors Celebrates Milestone with Exciting Offers on Electric Vehicles

In a significant achievement, Tata Motors has announced that it has sold over two lakh electric vehicles (EVs). To celebrate this milestone, the company is offering a range of benefits and promotions on their electric car lineup. This initiative is aimed at both new and existing customers and will be available for a limited time of 45 days.

Acknowledging Customers

Tata Motors is expressing gratitude to its loyal customers who contributed to reaching this sales milestone. The company has introduced a loyalty bonus of INR 50,000 for existing customers purchasing the Nexon.ev and Curvv.ev models. Additionally, customers who currently own an internal combustion engine (ICE) Tata vehicle are being encouraged to switch to an electric vehicle. For them, there’s a specially designed loyalty bonus of INR 20,000 applicable on the purchase of these EV models.

Attractive Offers for New Customers

Tata Motors is also making it easier for new customers to embrace electric mobility. Here are some of the outstanding offers available for those considering an EV:

  • Zero Down Payment: New buyers can purchase their EVs with no upfront payment, allowing them to finance the entire cost, including on-road expenses, through a loan.
  • Exchange Bonus: Customers can benefit from an exchange bonus of up to INR 50,000 when trading in their old vehicles.
  • Complimentary Charger and Installation: New customers will receive a free 7.2 kW AC charger along with complimentary installation.
  • Free Charging Offer: Specifically for the Nexon.ev and Curvv.ev models, new customers will enjoy six months of complimentary charging at Tata Power charging stations.

Impact on the Environment

Tata Motors reports that its customers have driven a combined total of over five billion kilometers in just five years, showcasing the popularity and usage of their electric vehicles. Remarkably, around 8,000 of these customers have each crossed the milestone of driving over 100,000 kilometers. By making the switch to EVs, these customers have collectively reduced carbon dioxide emissions by an impressive 700,000 tonnes.

Tata’s Electric Vehicle Lineup

Currently, Tata Motors offers six electric models:

  1. Tiago.ev
  2. Punch.ev
  3. Tigor.ev
  4. Xpres-T EV (available for fleet only)
  5. Nexon.ev
  6. Curvv.ev

The price range for these models starts at INR 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to INR 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, by March, Tata Motors plans to introduce the Harrier.ev, which will serve as their flagship electric vehicle. Later in the year, the company will also launch the Sierra.ev, targeting competition against popular models like the Hyundai Creta Electric and the Maruti e Vitara.

Enhancing Charging Infrastructure

As part of Tata Motors’ commitment to electric mobility, the company is also focused on improving the charging infrastructure throughout the country. They have set an ambitious goal to double India’s EV charging points to 400,000 by the year 2027. This initiative aims to make it more convenient for EV users to charge their vehicles, thereby encouraging more people to consider electric cars as viable alternatives to traditional fuel-powered vehicles.

Conclusion

With its impressive electric vehicle sales milestone and the exciting offers being rolled out for both new and existing customers, Tata Motors is clearly leading the charge in India’s electric vehicle market. Their dedication to innovation—both in vehicle technology and in supporting infrastructure—positions them favorably as a key player in the future of sustainable transport in India. Whether you’re an existing Tata customer considering an upgrade or a new buyer interested in joining the electric revolution, there has never been a better time to embrace Tata Motors’ electric vehicle offerings.
