Xfinity customers have some exciting news as Comcast has revealed that it is upgrading internet speeds for over 20 million subscribers at no extra charge. Additionally, eligible customers will receive a free Xfinity Mobile line when they subscribe to qualifying plans.

The upgrade in internet speeds applies to all tiers of Xfinity Internet, including NOW branded prepaid options. Comcast claims that users can expect a boost in upload speeds by 50 to 100 percent, with download speeds also increasing for most service tiers. In addition to the increased speeds, new and existing customers who subscribe to a plan offering 400 Mbps or higher will enjoy one year of unlimited service on Xfinity Mobile. Interested customers can access this offer via their Xfinity account online or through the Xfinity app.

These enhancements are made possible through Comcast’s advanced fiber-based network, reflecting the company’s strategy to remain competitive amid a rapidly changing marketplace.
