Google is expanding access to its Gemini Deep Research tool, making it available in over 100 countries and various languages. This feature, part of the Gemini Advanced subscription, was initially launched just over a week ago with limited availability.
Deep Research leverages the capabilities of Gemini 1.5 Pro, Google’s advanced AI model, to generate comprehensive reports on complex topics. By utilizing “long context windows,” the tool can reason through vast amounts of information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
To use Deep Research, users provide a prompt, and the tool creates a research plan that can be reviewed and modified. Once approved, Gemini 1.5 Pro scours the open web for relevant information, generating a multi-page report that can be exported to Google Docs.
This expansion of Deep Research reflects Google’s commitment to making its advanced AI tools more accessible to a wider audience. By supporting multiple languages and expanding availability to numerous countries, Google aims to empower users worldwide with powerful research capabilities.
