Stalker 2 developer GSC Game World has announced plans for a next-gen patch for the console versions of the Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The studio also confirmed its intention to update the PC versions of the original Stalker games.
In an end-of-year message, GSC Game World acknowledged the community’s requests for updates and expressed gratitude for the support received since the launch of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl in November.
The studio highlighted the recent release of patch 1.1 for Stalker 2, which addressed over 1800 issues and significantly improved the gameplay experience. GSC Game World also confirmed that it will continue to update Stalker 2 in the coming year and will share a content roadmap for the game in early 2025.
The next-gen patch for the console versions of the Stalker trilogy is expected to be released next year. The studio also plans to update the PC versions of the original Stalker games, addressing long-standing requests from the community.
