It’s been four years since the action RPG Sword Master Story graced our devices, and if you’ve never played it, it’s worth checking out. To celebrate this milestone, Super Planet is pulling out all the stops with a party full of costumes, content, characters, and plentiful power-ups.
First, let’s take a look at the shiny new character you can put on your team; Swear. She is originally from the Eastern Empire and will amaze you with her mysterious and seductive personality. She is a fighter with Leaf attribute who will be able to inflict a huge amount of damage on your enemies.
Our second surprise comes in the form of a costume. Go to the Store -> Package Store -> Moonlight Seduction Costume and you will be able to pick up the namesake Moonlight Seduction costume, Selene, for free. It’s a bunny girl style outfit, because of course it is, which features a unique ability cutscene and additional voice lines. Rather out of season, a Halloween bar-themed lobby backdrop is also available.
After collecting Yura and this hop-themed monstrosity, head to the Hall of Gods. This is a monthly reset challenge that will pit you against formidable bosses on every floor. It will initially be spread over 12 floors, but the developers plan to expand it. Rewards will change every month and character cooldowns will be reduced by 60%, with Cain getting an additional reduction.
Finally, you can give your new Yura a kick in the butt thanks to the redundantly titled 4x Quadruple Resource Boost event. Adventure and Labyrinth content drops will be affected, with Cubes of Awakening, Scrolls of Transcendence, and others receiving the buff. Also, between December 20th and 23rd, the Gold, EXP, and Awakening Cube dungeons will also be included in the boost, so I hope you have no plans.
Sword Master Story is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
